IPD (Integrated Project Delivery)

SMU Residential Commons

A Holistic View of Engineering for A/O/C Clients utilizing:

  • Building Information Modeling (BIM) of Civil, Sites, Structures, and Facades
  • Integrated Structural & Civil Engineering
  • Clash Detection\Interference Checks
  • Virtual Design & Construction (VDC)
  • Training in Virtual Design & Construction for Contractors
  • Value Engineering (VE)
  • BIM, VDC and IPD Consulting & Training

RLG’s Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) Department builds on the firm’s thirty plus year philosophy of providing integrated structural and civil service from a coordinated single entity. The IPD department that began in 2008 expands on RLG’s integrated history to designers and contractors. This is achieved by utilizing the Building Information Modeling (BIM) process.

This holistic view includes design & analysis with value engineering (VE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), and constructible solutions that consider project scheduling requirements. As a consulting firm, we have chosen to take a broader view of BIM to meet the needs of our clients in structural and civil engineering. We have recognized expertise in Model Management, Virtual Design & Construction (VDC), and BIM consulting as well as customization of manufacturing model content .
