L. Goodson Jr., Inc., is a privately held Dallas, Texas based Civil
Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Surveying Corporation
that offers professional engineering design and planning services to
public and private clients throughout Texas and the United States.
With Registered
Professional Engineers holding licenses in 35 states, Raymond L. Goodson
Jr., Inc., is capable of providing quality civil and structural
engineering services for a wide range of public and private development
projects.
Founded in 1953 by
Raymond L. Goodson Jr., the corporation has maintained steady and
consistent growth from an initial four employees to its present size of
approximately fifty-five qualified individuals. Current staff includes
Registered Professional Engineers (P.E.), Registered Professional Land
Surveyors (RPLS) and Graduate Engineers (E.I.T.).
Upon his retirement
in 1983, Raymond L. Goodson Jr., transferred management of the firm to: John
F. Stull, PE, Chairman and CEO; and David M. Goodson, PE,
President and COO. These two, along with Peter B. Larson, PE,
Senior Vice President; Stuart A. Markussen, PE, Vice President; and
Michael G. Powell, PE, Vice President, combine for over 110 years of
employment at Raymond L. Goodson Jr., Inc.
Raymond L. Goodson
Jr., Inc., utilizes state of the art technology throughout all phases of
the design process. Our surveyors employ a satellite Global Positioning
System (G.P.S.) along with total station electronic distance measuring
devices (E.D.M.). In the office, our Civil and Structural Departments are
fully computer networked, and utilize state of the art design and
drafting software, using AutoCAD, Civilsoft, Risa 3-D, Ram Software, and
other analysis and design programs.
